On Down the Road

When life comes to a crossroad 
there is only one way to go.

Once heading down the road, 
life must continue to go.

There is no way to change life 
to that other road, 
for life does not know 
what awaits down the road.

So what must life do 
when it comes to a crossroad?

Life must choose and go on down the road.
