UPDATE NOTES:
1. On the Roots Web Genealogy site Charles L. Durfee has uploaded a very nice GEDCOM file that details many of the family lines that are part of the Descendants of Thomas Durfee.

My family tree line is included starting with my Grandfather John Warren Healy.  For a link to view this you may

2. In my search I have come across a web site that details the Origin of the Durfee name.  Interesting research that shows the name originated in France and photos of the Durfee Coat of Arms as well as the old Durfee Castle in the mountains near Montbrison, France.
